Closest town: Forres
Our closest town is Forres (5 miles/8km from the Park Ecovillage Findhorn), which has good bus and rail links. You may want a taxi from Forres to the ecovillage (about 10 minutes by car). We recommend you pre book a taxi.
Closest airports
The nearest airports are Inverness (24 miles/38km) and Aberdeen (71 miles/114km). While flying is quicker, it’s less Earth-friendly, and we understand there are both financial and ecological considerations.

From Inverness Airport
The train station at Inverness Airport is a 1.3-mile walk away from the terminal building, on a well-marked and well-lit path. There are occasional bus connections from the terminal to the station.
The train journey from Inverness Airport to Forres station is approximately 25 minutes.
Alternatively, a taxi ride from the terminal to the Park takes approximately 45 minutes. Taxis should be prebooked.
From Aberdeen Airport
The nearest train station to Aberdeen Airport is Dyce, which is about 5 minutes on a local bus from the airport terminal.
The train journey to Forres train station takes around two hours.
There are also buses or taxis, which will take approximately 2 hours. Taxis should be prebooked.
From Edinburgh Airport
An electric bus service runs from Edinburgh Airport to Inverness. The journey takes around 4 hours.
