The Park Ecovillage

We are based in Scotland at the Park Ecovillage on Findhorn Bay, with the historic village of Findhorn about a mile down the road.

From a handful of people in the 1960s, the Park has grown into a thriving community of hundreds of like-hearted people – healers, artists, gardeners and more – alongside dozens of charities, organisations and businesses.

Come and explore a variety of pioneering eco buildings, from recycled whisky barrels to the latest green technologies, plus a new Sanctuary, a health and produce shop, and an award-winning cafe.

For more on how to get here and where to find accommodation, please go to www.visitecovillagefindhorn.uk.

Although we are now separate organisations, we maintain strong ties with the Erraid community and the retreat house on Iona, on Scotland’s west coast (below).

Erraid Community

Erraid is a tiny island in the Inner Hebrides, off the beautiful west coast of Scotland. It’s a wild and majestic place, within sight of Iona.

Week-long retreats on Erraid offer an opportunity to rest and reconnect to the land in the fresh sea air of this beautiful coast. Slow down to live in rhythm with the island’s seasons and tides.

Retreat House on Iona

Traigh Bhan (pronounced ‘try van’in Scottish Gaelic) is in the quieter, more remote northern part of this West Coast isle, on a beach called Traigh Bhan nam Manach – White Strand of the Monks.

There’s a beautiful porch overlooking the garden and sea – excellent in all kinds of weather – with a peaceful Sanctuary on the upper floor for meditation and reflection. You can see the Isle of Mull across the Sound of Iona, with Erraid in the distance.

The house is being renovated and renewed in preparation for retreats and visits to resume later this year. If you’d like to stay updated on developments at Traigh Bhan, you can sign up for news below.
