Our New Offerings - Tending our Inner Light as the Seasons are Changing

Would you like to join us this autumn and winter? Or next spring? We are excited to introduce you to our upcoming programmes…

The seasons are changing. Here at Findhorn we can feel it in the softening of the light, a new freshness in the wind, the first fallen leaves on the ground and an abundance of toadstools in the dunes and woods…

As the nights are drawing in, nature reminds us that after the hustle and bustle of summer now is the time to come closer together, turn within and tend our inner light. We invite you to experience the special quality of this time together with us, here at the heart of our community at Ecovillage Findhorn and online wherever you are.

Below we share an overview about the different ways you can explore the season with us as we take time for meditation, contemplation, nature connection, song, dance, theatre and more…

We hope you enjoy exploring our autumn and winter offerings and the first glimpses of our experiences in the coming year.

You can find all our offerings here:

Twice a month we gather online with people from around the world who resonate with the spirit of the community and the founding practices that inspire our work, from the UK to Australia, Brazil to Tanzania. It is a steady circle of connection, with inspiring guest speakers, that reaches beyond the Ecovillage, helping to make the global Network of Light more visible one spark at a time.

Mapping and Empowering the Network of Light

Behind the scenes, we are working not only to map the wider Network of Light, but to empower it. In collaboration with Co-sy, an innovative co-operating system, we are developing an online platform where those who share this calling can meet, support one another, develop projects together, and create a positive impact in the world. We look forward to sharing more on this soon.

🫶Offerings in Partnership with community members

Alongside our Signature Programmes, Findhorn Foundation SCIO collaborates with other educators in delivering other offerings in the Findhorn Ecovillage.

In July we welcomed Barbara Swetina and Joachim Goerke for Homecoming in Song and Stillness, a week of piano, circlesinging and shared stillness that filled the Universal Hall with music and brought the community together in a different key. In early August, Helen Sieroda and Diana Whitmore held ‘More than a Number: Navigating Age over 55’, a weekend for those ready to move beyond the cliché that age is just a number, exploring retirement, redefining purpose, and the deeper questions that growing older invites. Both were a joy to host, and a reminder of how much this community has to offer.

Here is more information about our offerings in partnership with community members:

Navigating Life with Nonviolent Communication | 9 to 11 October

In a fast paced, busy world of overwhelm and easily misread messages, a weekend to slow down and explore being honest even when it's scary, asking for what you want clearly, and learning to de-escalate conflict. Through identifying your feelings and needs, and articulating them to others, you will build empathy skills to navigate difficult conversations with loved ones, colleagues, teenagers and children, and learn to show up more authentically in your relationships.

Healing Our World: From Despair to Repair (Autumn  Conference) | 16 to 20 October

Hosted by our partner, Ecovillage Findhorn CBS, this five day international conference brings together practical solutions, courageous conversations and creative expression in response to the challenges facing our world. Confirmed speakers include Mike Berners-Lee, one of the UK's leading voices on sustainability and climate action, alongside Donnachadh McCarthy and Alan Watson Featherstone, founder of Trees for Life. We invite you to connect, be inspired and strengthen the ways we can heal our world, together.

Spirit at Work | 21 to 25 October

For visionary coaches, leaders and change agents ready to lead with purpose and depth, this residential programme brings the transpersonal alive in coaching, consulting and leadership practice, looking beyond a narrow version of self to work with and through the individual to create change in the world. Led by Christopher Connolly and Hetty Einzig, with sessions from Findhorn community pioneers in regenerative agriculture, ethical building and social enterprise.

Foundations in Coaching | 6-9 November 2026

Coaching helps people find clarity, take ownership and discover their own way forward. This internationally recognised course offers practical skills that can be applied immediately in everyday leadership, community and professional practice.

Crossing the Threshold | 28 December - 3 January 2027

During this magical time of the year you are invited to join Barbara Swetina and Jilani in six days of celebration and relaxation in a community of heart, drawing on the riches of the Findhorn and Sufi traditions in song, dance, story, soul work, creativity and ritual.

Growing2gether: Professional CPD Training in Transformational Work with Young People (online) | 29 January to 16 April 2027.

An accredited training for anyone working for the wellbeing of children and young people, using Positive and Transpersonal Psychology to help young people move beyond being seen as a "problem" and discover their own potential.

Eldest Daughter Retreat 2027 | 5-8 March 2027
