Ruby Wax: A Mindfulness Guide for Survival

This six-week online course comes from Ruby Wax, world-famous comedian and mental health advocate who has a masters degree in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy from Oxford University. It offers feature-length episodes to watch in your own time, with Ruby as your mental health trainer. Together you’ll explore how to identify critical thoughts, know your body, unlock the power of compassion and how to use mindfulness in your everyday life. It promises to help you emerge on the other side with a new appreciation and lust for life.
Her book – actually more of a work book – of the same name pulls together all she learnt in her life and mental health studies before the pandemic, as well as her practice during the pandemic. An ‘evolve-yourself’ book, rather than a self-help book, she says.

Gene Keys: The Art of Contemplation

This online course shows you how to bring the magic of contemplation into every corner of your life, resulting in a deep sense of spaciousness, calm and clarity. Through a series of step-by-step resources you’ll explore this technique that’s at the core of the Gene Keys. The course, which you do at your own speed, includes The Art of Contemplation book (audio and online), 20+ techniques to cultivate your own practice, and more.
