Weaving Waters: Maps to Ecstasy, a 5Rhythms® Workshop

Start Date: 17/06/2023
End Date: 19/06/2023

Cultivate balance, ease and joy during this two-day movement-based onsite workshop with Douglas Drummond

About 5Rhythms®

Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms® is a movement meditation practice that aims to explore and release the physical, emotional, and spiritual energy that resides within each of us.

The practice is based on five universal rhythms – Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness – that reflect different qualities of movement and energy. Through these rhythms, participants are invited to move and dance freely, without judgement or expectation, in order to access their authentic selves and connect with the present moment.

Who the workshop is for

For those who want to increase their appreciation, gratitude and happiness while celebrating life and all its wild wondrous, natural beauty.

This workshop is open to all ages, genders and physicalities.

What will you learn

Maps hold all the information that is required for us to step into the places we want to go. What is your current destination? Discover this and more through the power of Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms® movement practice.

Not only will you learn powerful tools for better balance, ease and joy – you’ll develop a deeper sense and ability to articulate your feelings and increase your capacity to listen, witness and react to others with compassion.

Your Workshop Leader

Douglas Drummond

Douglas Drummond is a teacher of the 5Rhythms® for over 10 years. He has worked with groups facilitating embodiment in workshop settings, music festivals, online courses and regular in-person classes internationally.

Douglas’s primary philosophy is that we are multifaceted beings that at-times lose our way when under stress and misaligned actions. Instruction is as much about teaching as it is a reminder of what we already know through activating our instinct and intuition.
