Exploring the “S” in ESG and how society must be the foundation upon which all environmental action is built.
An examination into key conditions required to ensure society maintains:
- ‘Social System Security’
- ‘Ecological System Security’
Through this project we seek to identify opportunities for corporations to reduce political, economic, environmental, and societal risk, as well as developing opportunities through strategies for future growth that benefits all of society rather than just shareholders. This will also require an examination of parallel issues such as the taxation structures required to stimulate employment but limit resource consumption, legislation to ensure the creation of equitable jobs in the future economy, allowing workers to live fulfilling lives, and how the media and political landscape can nurture tolerance, debate and information-sharing instead of promoting divisiveness.
