Deepening into the garden: A Park Garden Retreat – 29 August to 2 September 2022
Come and join us in our magical Findhorn Park Gardens to deepen your connection with the land and the plant kingdoms, during a week of inner and outer gardening.
Join the Park Garden team for a week of nature and beauty, connecting to your inner nature and to nature surrounding us. Together we will immerse ourselves into the tamed and cultivated parts, and the wild and raw parts, within nature and within ourselves.
While taking care of the beautifully landscaped gardens at the Findhorn ecovillage, we’ll connect to the wilder nature surrounding us and tend to our own inner landscape.
On our journey we will connect with earth, air, water and fire and the life force energy moving us all.
If you are ready for the magic of Findhorn to find you, please join us for this week.
There is another Park Garden retreat week from 1 to 5 August 2022.
Your guides in the garden

What you'll explore
This week offers the opportunity to build the community’s core practices into your daily life – work as love in action in the Original Garden, the source from which our community grew, and experience how we co-create with nature and the nature spirits.
Through physical gardening you might find that you also take care of your garden within. Connecting to nature in this way may help you choose which plants in your ‘inner garden’ need to be weeded out to give more space to the seeds you really want to grow in your life.
Above all you’ll experience the value of slowing down and noticing the restorative power of nature.

What to expect
Each day you will have time together in the gardens where we will be sowing, planting out, composting, weeding and beautifying the sacred spaces we hold.
We will also come together as a group for sharing, looking into our individual purposes of being here, spending time by the sea, having an evening at the fire, and reflecting upon the next steps we want to take in our lives.
There will also be times for you to retreat, to go inside and reflect on how you would like your ‘inner garden’ to look like and grow after spending time with us here at Findhorn.

Meet your guides
The week will be held by Joern Fiebig and the lovely Park Garden Team.

Jörn Fiebig
The week will be held by Jörn Fiebig and the wonderful Cullerne Garden team.
Originally coming from Germany, Jörn joined the community in 1997 and has been involved mainly in gardening, education, spiritual studies and practices, and management over the years.
He lived in Cluny for many years before moving to The Park in 2021, when he became involved with educational workshops and their development, as part of an inspired team.
He also serves in our Visitors Centre, welcoming new arrivals and giving tours of the community.
Attuning to the spirit(s) of the land, the gardens as well as the forests, dunes and sea shores, is one of his big passions – along with enjoying our planet, which he does through long-distance walks, such as the Camino in Spain, which he has done twice.
‘I believe that through connecting more deeply with nature and the elements I also become more my true self.’
