Due to the uncertainty of the pandemic we have decided to suspend our regular scheduled residential programming for 2021. We will continue to offer online programmes and to evaluate onsite opportunities as circumstances allow, so sign up for our latest news. If you have a residential booking for 2021, we will be in touch.
Browse our Online Workshops. Donate to help the Foundation during this time.
Gratitude to those who left payments from cancelled workshops with us – all credit held from the pandemic will be valid until the end of 2022.

Short Term Guest

Last updated: 22 September 12:00 BST

Please Note that the Short Term Guest Programme is CLOSED until Spring 2021.

Please check back here for our programme opening dates, or browse our online transformational programmes, global sharing circles for heart-to-heart connection, live online workshops with international speakers, videos or connect with us on Facebook.

We can’t wait to welcome you back in person as soon as possible!

To receive regular updates, news, inspiration and information about our new online programmes, please sign up for our Newsletter.

If you don’t have time to engage in a full week-long programme, you can still participate in the daily life of the community by joining us as a Short Term Guest for between 1 and 4 days.

You will have the opportunity to engage with us in departments such as the kitchen, gardens or homecare, to meditate in the sanctuaries and take part in community activities as they happen.

Short Term Guest is open to individual visitors (not groups) aged 18 years or over and is available Monday – Friday (not Wednesday afternoons) most weeks of the year but please contact the Visitors Centre in advance if possible (see contact details below) to check whether it is available during the time of your visit. Generally you don’t need to book, just come to the Visitors Centre when you arrive.

The programme costs £25 per day, and includes lunch and dinner in the Community Centre. You will need to find your own accommodation, perhaps using this list of local Bed and Breakfast Guest Houses or the Findhorn Bay Holiday Park which offers accommodation in caravans and ecochalets or your own tent or caravan.

Short Term Guest is especially useful for families when only one member is attending a Foundation workshop.

When you arrive at Findhorn, contact the Visitors Centre to be a Short Term Guest.
