Based on the Isle of Skye, the Peatbog Faeries bring Celtic Dance music into the 21st century. They incorporate many influences which take them from traditional jigs and reels through jazz, hip hop, reggae and more using, bagpipes, fiddle, whistles, guitars, keyboard drums and a brass section. In 2008 the band won the award for 'Best Live Act' at the prestigious Scots Trad Music Awards and they had most of the Universal Hall audience bouncing in front of the stage when they played here last year.
