Lulo Reinhardt Latin Swing Project

Wednesday 15th Oct 2014

Lulo RThe ‘Reinhardt name’ of course refers to Lulo’s world famous grand-uncle, Django, the great gypsy guitarist who created an entirely new way of playing jazz in the 1930’s and 1940’s. Lulo was taught guitar by his father from age 5, and represents one of the most unique voices in gypsy-jazz music today. His Latin-Swing Project combines pure gypsy-swing music with elements of Latin music such as flamenco, tango, and bossa nova. Lulo will be backed at this concert by his 4 piece band.

” … the finest concert of acoustic guitar I have ever seen …” Sydney Morning Herald
