Credit Colin Hattersley.Following the award winning success of their last co-production, The Seven Deadly Sins, Company Chordelia and Scottish Opera team up again to deliver Dance Derby. Set in the 1930's to a backdrop of toe-tapping popular songs, Dance Derby explores the phenomenon of the American Dance Marathon using large ensemble of dancers and actors, MC, singer and a live jazz band. The show follows the contestants through the grueling week of one such marathon in an American town.
