Emma Stiman (Clarinet) and John Sikorski (Accordion) make up the duo "Klezmatize".
Emma Stiman (clarinet): Following her work with the Queen Esther Klezmer Trio (Germany/Latvia/England) and Duo Wajlu (Germany/England) Emma has gained recognition on the international Jewish music scene, through combining traditional and her own original compositions. Emma is classically trained as an orchestral player. It was her Jewish roots that inspired her to specialise in this field of music.
John Sikorski (accordion) has been involved in international music & dance traditions for over 20 years. Beginning as an accordionist at ceilidh dances, he has since diversified musically, now focusing on klezmer, Eastern European & French styles on piano accordion. He has studied with gypsy communities in Transylvania.
