An evening of Indian Music & Devotional Singing with Hindustani Classical Artist Sanyogita Kumari whose repertoire includes Khayal singing, Thumari, Ghazals, Bhajans, Punjabi, Dogri and traditional folk songs. Sanyogita will this evening concentrate on devotional Bhajan singing. Joining Sanyogita is Tabla Maestro Pritam Singh. Two members of legendary World Music pioneers, Suns of Arqa complete the line-up – Angel Eye on tampura and vocals, plus Suns founder, Michael Wadada, on sitar.

There will be a workshop in Raag and Rhythm on Sat 26th May from 10 to 12 noon in the Hall Auditorium. Raag or Raga is a melodic style in Indian Classical Music and will be taught by Sanyogita who performs the night before in the show. Cost is £10 for the workshop and you can either pay on the door or phone 01309 691170 to book your ticket in advance or to get more details.
