From May 2015 to February 2018, the Universal Hall hosted an amazing series of TEDxFindhorn events. On this page you can see the talks given at the last in the series of TEDxFindhorn events held on 2nd February 2018.

TEDxFindhorn events were independently coordinated and organised events, held under license from the TED organisation. TEDxFindhorn events generally took the form of an evening gathering with 4 inspiring speakers each holding a talk of about 20 minutes duration.

Unfortunately, the TEDxFindhorn license is not being renewed, but with a back catalogue of 33 TEDxFindhorn talks, there is a wide variety of subjects to dip into, ranging from “The Real Macbeth” to “Experiments in Communication with Morphogenetic Fields”.

The Tea Meditation
In this funny and engaging talk, Robert talks about tea and how it reflects the wider changes in society and the way we have moved into the age of ‘more…..’.

Bio
Robert has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, a PBS show called Shift Happens!, and in two major BBC documentaries called The Happiness Formula and How to Be Happy, shown to over 30 million television viewers worldwide.

He is the author of Happiness NOW!, Shift Happens!, Authentic Success (formerly titled Success Intelligence), Be Happy, Loveability, Holy Shift! 365 Daily Meditations from A Course in Miracles and Life Loves You, co-written with Louise Hay.

Ingeborg Bosch

The laser method for healing self and reconnecting with others

Bio
Dr Ingeborg Bosch received her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Amsterdam (1986). Inspired by eastern philosophical concepts of Krishnamurti and Buddhism as well as by the work of Alice Miller and therapy approaches from the west, Ingeborg went on to develop the new insights and theoretical concepts that have now given rise to a fundamentally renewed therapy, PRI or Past Reality Integration. Now based in France, as well as providing therapy and writing books, she is dedicated to the training of therapists in order to make PRI more accessible to the wider public. www.pastrealityintegration.com

Why the last 20 minutes of the day matter
Did you ever go to sleep on an argument hoping that you would wake up the next morning and things would be ‘all better’? Were things better?

The last 20 minutes of the day are an important time for connection, or more specifically re-connection. This is especially important for children who are trying to make sense of the experiences of their day as they transition into sleep. When their day includes moments of feeling unwelcome, shame, or unsafe to be themselves, then these 20 minutes are the last chance to repair the painful separation before it gets embodied during sleep and begins to undermine their self esteem and confidence more permanently. Andrew explores the power of simple connection practices that help enhance confidence, esteem and ease in adults and children alike.

Bio
Andrew learned a lot about diamonds and gold as a privileged apartheid baby and fourth generation family jeweller in South Africa. However, in response to a deep existential crisis, he turned to spiritual enquiry, and dove into the deep end of healing, psychology and personal development. This left-turn in life astonished even him. His unplanned adventures turned into 12 years of professional training with amongst others, Dr. Barbara Brennan (author Hands of Light) and Jason Shulman (founder of A Society of Souls). Andrew is the founder of the Conscious Bedtime Story Club and is the author of many books for children including “The Boy Who Searched for Silence”, “The Hug Who Got Stuck” and “The Elephant Who Tried To Tiptoe”.
