The human soul doesn’t want to be advised or fixed or saved. It simply wants to be witnessed exactly as it is.Parker Palmer
This is a call for young people 14-19 to immerse into theatre for a full week of discovery and expression. We will use dramatic narrative to explore what happened to us and to our planet and to look for the answers that we do not have.
By putting on stage powerful stories told by our ancestors, we will look into climate change and the role of humanity, not just in the destruction of this planet, but especially in the healing process that needs to take place. Nothing will change until we embrace our responsibilities, until we re-member our connection to Mother Earth and we choose to become ‘fully human’: an integrated part of the web of this Universe. Restoring our missing sense of belonging can lead us to find ourselves and our place in the world.
Theatre is a powerful tool of reconnection. By showing us who we are, it makes us accept who we are not and helps us dream who we want to become. It awakens our memories and empowers our imagination. Theatre is a gateway through which we can get back what we have lost: our meaning and our direction.
Our quoted prices are fully inclusive of participation in the workshop or event, accommodation in our guest rooms (including towels and linen), all meals and refreshments, and full access to our community facilities like our meditation sanctuaries. Some facilities, like our saunas and hot tub, ask for a donation for use.
