Do you want to get in touch with nature in a practical way? Learn to identify herbs, forage and prepare wild food? Come experience wild food as an experiential and embodied spiritual practice in the Findhorn Foundation!
Working with herbs and foraged food is a great way to keep alive the knowledge of our ancestors, helping us to be more aware, connected to, and involved in the care of our bodies as well as the landscape around us.
Retreat leader Eveline Rodenburg is a herbalist, naturopath and functional nutrition and lifestyle practitioner. She will share from her decades long practical experience of making herbal remedies and preparing and preserving foraged foods. Together we will go on walks into the breathtakingly beautiful nature in and around Findhorn: gardens, dunes, forest and sea. Armed with our baskets we will gather plants, roots and fruits. Then we come back home to prepare: salves, tinctures, jam, fruit leathers and lots more.
