Press pause on your life for one week to bask in Nature’s healing gifts of sun, sea, earth and wind, as you remember that Spirit is in all things – trees, earth, rocks… and you.
When the busyness of our lives has dulled our senses, daily practices in Nature will help us consciously reconnect and affirm our oneness with the natural world, re-opening our eyes to the energy that unites us all.
The invitation is to experience the sacredness of all life on this retreat that will combine gently guided meditative walks, reconnection with the beauty and healing powers of Nature, and time to simply relax and enjoy the simplicity of island life.
This video captures some of the essence and depicts the landscapes that form a backdrop for an Iona retreat with Geoff and Adelle.
The Deepen Your Nature Connection retreat takes place at Traigh Bhan, Findhorn’s peace-filled retreat house right on the beach on the sacred Isle of Iona. Pilgrims have been connecting with the energy of Iona for thousands of years, and some say the veil between the material world and the other realms is at its thinnest here.
The comfortable house has its own peaceful sanctuary offering quiet space to reflect on your own journey or next steps. It is a chance to slow down, let go of otherworldly busyness, and sink into the supportive and co-creative space of a mini-community sharing accommodation and the preparation and enjoyment of simple vegetarian meals.
Participation is limited to a maximum of six retreatants.

Before you book your place, please take a moment to consider that the Findhorn Foundation is a Charitable Trust. We believe that the benefits of holistic learning should be available to everyone regardless of their financial or life situation, and that the transformational journey is enriched by a diversity of participants.
We recognise that what is affordable for some can be a financial stretch for others and offer a tiered pricing structure. When you book, please select the price that feels appropriate for you.
Pay it Forward Price covers the cost of your workshop and includes a contribution to our bursary fund. This will make participation possible for one or more people who otherwise would not be able to join our transformational work in the world.
Sustainable Price covers the cost of your workshop and helps us to sustain our learning and guest facilities.
Supported Price reflects a partial bursary toward the cost of your workshop and is intended for those with minor financial need.
The house accommodates six people in two shared rooms. One room has four bunk beds each with a curtain for privacy, an individual bedside lamp and bookshelf. The other room has one double bed and one single bed. There are no single rooms available.
The cost of the workshop does not include transport to Iona. For information on the Findhorn Foundation bus to Iona and to book a seat, please send an email to [email protected] Please state the dates you wish to travel and if you would like to be picked up from Cluny or The Park.
If you are making your own travel arrangements, please plan to be at Fionnphort on Mull in time to meet the retreat focaliser from the Findhorn Foundation bus. This is normally at 11:15, but please check with the focaliser. If you need to call Traigh Bhan (+44 (0)1681 700 383), to inform us what time you will arrive, please be aware that there is nobody at the house on Saturday between 9.00 am and 1.00 pm.
