Geoff Dalglish & Adelle Horler

For many centuries the Isle of Iona has been a place of pilgrimage and during the past four decades Traigh Bhan, the Findhorn Foundation’s retreat house on this sacred island, has appealed to modern-day pilgrims seeking a quiet space for contemplation and renewal.

This retreat will combine the opportunity for gently guided meditative walks, reconnection with the beauty and healing powers of Nature and time to simply relax and enjoy the simplicity of island life.

Comfortable and adequately equipped, the house has its own peaceful sanctuary for prayer and meditation, and offers quiet space to reflect on your own journey or next steps. It is a chance to slow down, let go of otherworld busyness and discover and celebrate the magic and magnificence of life in every step you take, in every sound you hear, and every sight you see.

Tiered Pricing

Before you book your place, please take a moment to consider that the Findhorn Foundation is a Charitable Trust. We believe that the benefits of holistic learning should be available to everyone regardless of their financial or life situation, and that the transformational journey is enriched by a diversity of participants.

We recognise that what is affordable for some can be a financial stretch for others and offer a tiered pricing structure. When you book, please select the price that feels appropriate for you.

Pay it Forward Price covers the cost of your workshop and includes a contribution to our bursary fund. This will make participation possible for one or more people who otherwise would not be able to join our transformational work in the world.

Sustainable Price covers the cost of your workshop and helps us to sustain our learning and guest facilities.

Supported Price reflects a partial bursary toward the cost of your workshop and is intended for those with minor financial need.

Includes 7 nights accommodation (maximum 6 guests) in shared rooms and vegetarian food for shared meals. Arrival time is midday Saturday, and departure time is the next Saturday morning.

Retreat Weeks at Traigh Bhan require previous participation in an Experience Week.
