The practice of yoga is a physical exploration, from within, of the dynamic relationships between body, mind and breath. It is deeply personal and radically transformative.
Especially in this approach, we develop the ability to listen and work with our body, learning to let go of the urge to train and control. This asks for honesty and accuracy, always finding a sense of beginning and enquiring afresh. In time, a qualitative change takes place and we discover a different muscle usage. By 'undoing' tension, and 'awakening' the spine, we find a restfulness in the space where change is possible - the place we can journey out from.
Louise uses a wide range of asana, as well as movements of everyday life, always informed by breath and awareness. All ages, experience and levels of fitness, whether from a yoga background or not, can find inspiration and a chance to develop or deepen a personal practice.
