Join us on this four week journey of engaging with your inner knowing.

Spiritual Deepening is an invitation to step back from everyday life and immerse yourself in the transformational field of this place. Over 50 years of living by the principles of inner listening, co-creation and loving service to the whole has given our community a unique capacity to hold you with wisdom and deep empathy as you open to new possibilities in your life.

This holistic support will give you space to open more to the wisdom of your own unique body and being, grounding it consciously in the framework of day to day living. The programme will include guided inner work, meditation, journalling, a mindfulness practice day once a week, expressing love through service, a silent retreat, different types of creative expression and body-based practices.

These four weeks are a heart-opening process of discovering more of your capacity to experience life as an expression of awakening consciousness in life. Step into this space and open to life in new ways.

Before you book your place, please take a moment to consider that the Findhorn Foundation is a Charitable Trust. We believe that the benefits of holistic learning should be available to everyone regardless of their financial or life situation, and that the transformational journey is enriched by a diversity of participants.

We recognise that what is affordable for some can be a financial stretch for others and offer a tiered pricing structure. When you book, please select the price that feels appropriate for you.

Pay it Forward Price covers the cost of your workshop and includes a contribution to our bursary fund. This will make participation possible for one or more people who otherwise would not be able to join our transformational work in the world.

Sustainable Price covers the cost of your workshop and helps us to sustain our learning and guest facilities.

Supported Price reflects a partial bursary toward the cost of your workshop and is intended for those with minor financial need.

Includes all programme content, 28 days accommodation, full board and refreshments.

Our bursary fund allows for the possibility of supplementing those on low income and/or from developing countries. Please speak to the programme focalisers directly when you apply.

I have been on many retreats in various spiritual traditions but never one as long, deep and loving as the one I experienced at Findhorn. Perhaps it was due to the programme structure with abundant time for learning, contemplation and self expression, or perhaps it was the joy (and sometimes tension) of being on the journey with a group of multicultural fellow travelers, perhaps it was Kairos (God's time) or perhaps it was simply the 'Magic of Findhorn'. And now I think that the gift of the retreat need not be attributed to anything other than grace and the blessing of being in the right place at the right time. What I experienced was most profound and beautiful. I have come to realise that the Spiritual Deepening Programme was, for me, simply about understanding, experiencing and loving the person I am and was created to be. Thank you Findhorn!

Susan Miles

Susan Miles has worked in the healing professions for 38 years - as a hospital nurse for five years before moving into community-based care as a health visitor, later expanding into complementary therapies. She also ran a successful private practice in London for three years before joining the Findhorn Foundation in 1991. Her work currently includes running the long-standing Life Purpose workshop, other brochure programmes, internal trainings and staff development work. During her time here she has undertaken additional training in Process Oriented Psychology, Person Centred Counselling, and Energetic Cellular Healing. Susan is a lover of paradox and simplicity. She enjoys silence, stillness and contemplation, walking and dancing, and quality time with friends. Her passion in life is to connect with and express her true self. Deep sincerity and authentic contact make her come alive.

Karen Luedtke

Karen Luedtke has always been inspired by questions about being human. Deep enquiry has guided her life and motivated her research in social anthropology and training as a Biodanza facilitator. She is author of Dances with Spiders, a vibrant study on dance and healing in southern Italy, based on her PhD. She has also worked extensively with languages, teaching, translating and interpreting. Karen became a member of the Findhorn Foundation in 2012 and has since expanded her research further into the healing arts. Her own journey of spiritual deepening continues to be profoundly inspired by the embodied practices of energy healing and dance. Karen feels deeply nourished by meditation, integrity and humour, being in and by the sea, free time alone and with friends, and all that invokes a sense of grounded spaciousness.
