For the past 30 years, Jenny has been engaged in groundbreaking, pioneering work in schools – nationally and internationally. Aspects of her Quality Circle Time model, often referred to as the Golden Model, are embedded in the majority of primary schools throughout the UK. Many secondary schools are currently using her circle time approach to support young people with transition and their future personal and social development.
This one-day workshop will focus on the key features of Jenny’s work and the importance she places on adults and children sharing laughter and humour together. Enjoying each other's company, engaging in a fresh and respectful way, sharing the development of key systems together – all help create a happy ethos in which learning and relationships can develop. Recent research supports this claim.
Old converts and new enthusiasts to Jenny’s work will benefit from this day – learning through fun themselves.
