This week offers an in-depth exploration of Laughter Yoga (LY), started by an Indian medical doctor, Dr Madan Kataria, 15 years ago. LY is a powerful combination of laughter exercises and yoga breathing, and is for anyone who wants more from their life.

This is very practical workshop and is recognised by Laughter Yoga International, which will equip you to start your own Laughter Club, set up one-to-one laughter coaching, small group intensives, or one day workshops.

LY has many applications, from schools to the business world, and the fabulous thing is that everyone can do it!

There have been no side-effects arising from participation in the practice of Laughter Yoga that we are aware of. However, since laughter can involve a rise in intra-abdominal pressure, we would suggest that if you have been diagnosed with any of the following conditions you consult your Doctor as a precaution before booking:

Hernia; severe haemorrhoids; heart disease with chest pain; epilepsy; severe backache; recent surgery; uterovaginal prolapse; pregnancy; glaucoma.
