Craig Gibsone & Essential Findhorn focalisers

This week includes a taste of sustainable living on all levels. During the week we will touch on inclusive decision-making processes, cooperative economies, local food production, and cultural and spiritual diversity, which together create a full featured human settlement.

In The Park - a village setting: 1 April & 7 October 2017
In Cluny - an urban setting: 5 August 2017

An introduction to the essence of the Findhorn Foundation.

The best way to experience this vibrant, international, spiritual community! Enjoy a unique opportunity to participate in an evolving journey of spiritual awakening and sustainable living.

During these seven days you will become part of a multi-generational, inter-cultural group of fellow participants, mutually learning, sharing and supporting each other. Experience the founding principles and daily activities that this dynamic community is based on, and explore how you can enhance your spiritual development and self reflection.

In all our activities we aim to co-create an environment that supports you in deepening your connection with all life. Being here is an invitation to let go of limitations, open to love and be the change you want to see in the world.

The week is full of opportunities for spiritual awakening and transformation through deepening your connection with yourself, others and the world. It will support you to practise inner listening, inspired action and relational presence in the course of community living. Connect with others who seek to engage consciously and creatively, and feel what it is like to be guided by the spirit of life.

Doing KP Outside the CC In the fields

The programme was carefully structured to playfully expose, deepen, hold and connect. I loved every minute.

The week was fantastic. Highly transformative and the safest container I've ever had for deep work. I would recommend it highly.

Join in community life here and experience our daily rhythms and spiritual principles. Four days of the week will include a few hours in one of our service departments: the gardens, kitchens, dining room, homecare or maintenance, giving you many opportunities to experience our practice of love in action and interact with other people in the community.

Experience Week runs at both sites of the Findhorn Foundation, The Park and Cluny Hill. You will have opportunities to visit both sites during the week.

You need to speak and understand English reasonably well. If you do not, we offer Experience Weeks in other languages - please use the flag links at the top of the page on the right.

Experience Week is a rich and active week that asks for participation for most of the day and several evenings. We ask that you come willing to participate fully, to give of yourself and engage with others. Be open to surprise!

Booking Your Experience Week

When you book your Experience Week, please write a letter telling us about yourself, your spiritual background if any, and why you want to visit. (Most people write between one and two pages.) Please also specify if you have any mobility/accessibility needs. You can book online using the links on the right above, or print out a booking form and fax or post it to us here.

Please book as far in advance as you can to ensure the dates you prefer, as Experience Week is a popular programme. Please wait for confirmation of your booking before you travel, and arrange your travel plans so you can register between 11:00am and 12:15pm on the Saturday that your programme begins. It is important for you to be present for the first session of the week, which begins early Saturday afternoon.

You will find travel information here, Bed and Breakfast accommodation information here, and practical information on what to bring etc. here.

The programme runs from Saturday to Friday evening, and includes seven nights accommodation and all meals, from the first Saturday lunchtime through until breakfast on the Saturday morning of your departure.

Tiered pricing: £780 / £610 / £490

Our quoted prices are fully inclusive of participation in the workshop or event, accommodation in our guest rooms (including towels and linen), all meals and refreshments, and full access to our community facilities like our meditation sanctuaries. Some facilities, like our saunas and hot tub, ask for a donation for use.

We believe that the benefits of our holistic programmes should be available to everyone regardless of their financial or life situation, and that our learning environment is enriched by a diversity of participants. We also recognise that what is affordable for some can be a stretch for others with limited means.

To welcome and accommodate a diverse range of people, we offer a tiered pricing structure. When you book, please select one of the prices listed for your programme based on your personal circumstances and what feels appropriate for you.

Tier 1 reflects the price of your workshop and helps this centre to continue its work in the world; it helps us sustain our learning and guest facilities, helps us continue to retain world-class presenters, and includes a contribution to our bursary fund.

Tier 2 reflects the price of your workshop and a modest contribution to our bursary fund.

Tier 3 reflects a partial subsidy toward the price of your workshop and is intended for those with temporary or minor financial need.

Thank you.
