After three rich and intense years of collaborating, co-creating and piloting, we are delighted to invite you to the Closing Event of the EU’s Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership programme, SIRCle – Social Innovation for Resilient Communities on 29th June 2017 in Brussels.
The SIRCle Programme received three years’ funding from the EU to create a curriculum that is designed to support people in establishing social enterprises, or transforming their work environments in such a way as to enable them to combine their care for the planet and for socially sustainable initiatives with the ability to make a living.
This project was born in a close collaboration between the Global Ecovillage Network and the Findhorn Foundation. Along with partners from the UK, Romania, Belgium, Austria, Spain and Portugal, we have met, developed and piloted a unique learning pathway, The Evoneers’ Journey – a journey for evolution pioneers. For more information on SIRCle and the Evoneers Journey please visit : http://www.sircle-project.eu
It is now time for us to share publicly our stories and our findings, and the inspiration we gathered from over 200 social entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs who took part in the 12 Evoneers’ Journey Pilot training programmes in six EU countries.
We will be reflecting on our best practices and showcasing social ventures that have been successfully launched since the programme’s inception. And, while 29th June marks the completion of the programme, it also launches the beginning of the next cycle. We look forward to giving you a first taste of that, too.
The event will be hosted in the premises of the European Economic and Social Committee in the Trèves Building, 7th floor, 74 rue de Trèves, 1040 Brussels. Attendance is by registration only. The final deadline for registration is 21 st June, but due to limited space, we advise to register earlier to secure a place. You can find the registration form here.
