Guidance from Eileen Caddy

Silence Is Golden

Be very flexible and never dogmatic about anything. When you are absolutely sure about something, be quiet about it. Live it to prove it and never thrust it down another’s throat. It is so easy to choke a tender spiritual plant by handling it too roughly and dogmatically. Let it feel its own way and only give help and advice when it is asked for, not otherwise. Silence is golden. More good is done by simply living a life by example than by talking about it. Peacefully and quietly go about your daily round taking My divine Love wherever you go.

One of the co-founders of the Findhorn Community, Eileen Caddy, received guidance from the "still, small voice within" and shared it with others in the community for more than 40 years until she passed away in 2006. Today we continue this tradition by printing her guidance - as relevant today as it was when she received it - in the community's weekly newsletter and by sharing it with the wider world by email.
