Guidance from Eileen Caddy

There is Much to Rise Above at These Times

Learn your lessons quickly. You think you have and then you are caught unawares and off guard and fall flat on your faces. When this happens pick yourselves up quickly, see where you have failed and be determined never to do it again. Move on, never waste time wallowing in your failures, which will get you nowhere. Never try to justify your reactions; what is wrong is wrong and simply accept this. Don’t feel you have a right to grumble or complain. There is much to rise above at these times. You have so much to be eternally grateful for; concentrate on those things and you will find there will be no time or room for anything negative. You are all so mightily blessed but you are inclined to forget this when you get muddled up in petty little irritations and your vision becomes so blurred you fail to see your blessings.

One of the co-founders of the Findhorn Community, Eileen Caddy, received guidance from the "still, small voice within" and shared it with others in the community for more than 40 years until she passed away in 2006. Today we continue this tradition by printing her guidance - as relevant today as it was when she received it - in the community's weekly newsletter and by sharing it with the wider world by email.
