Guidance from Eileen Caddy

Be Ever Grateful for Every Lesson Learnt

It would be useless to remain wrapped in cotton wool all your life. You need a loving and understanding heart and you can only find this by weathering the rough with the smooth, by experiencing life at its height and at its depths. Unless you have experienced, how can you hope to understand deeply? Be ever grateful for every lesson learnt no matter how difficult or unpleasant. Simply know each one will be fully used to help some soul in desperate need. No lesson is abortive, all have a special place in the overall pattern and plan.

One of the co-founders of the Findhorn Community, Eileen Caddy, received guidance from the "still, small voice within" and shared it with others in the community for more than 40 years until she passed away in 2006. Today we continue this tradition by printing her guidance - as relevant today as it was when she received it - in the community's weekly newsletter and by sharing it with the wider world by email.
