Guidance from Eileen Caddy

Colourful Weave

My beloveds, always remember you each have your own specific work to do in the whole scheme of things, that each one of you can be likened to a particular coloured thread of a very intricate pattern which is being woven, and each one is needed to create that perfect blend of colours. You cannot all be the brilliant colours; the quiet somber ones are needed also, the pale delicate ones are needed to soften and tone down. Therefore realise that no matter what your colour, what your gifts and qualities, you are each one needed in your rightful place doing your specific work so the whole pattern can be perfected.

One of the co-founders of the Findhorn Community, Eileen Caddy, received guidance from the "still, small voice within" and shared it with others in the community for more than 40 years until she passed away in 2006. Today we continue this tradition by printing her guidance - as relevant today as it was when she received it - in the community's weekly newsletter and by sharing it with the wider world by email.
