Guidance from Eileen Caddy

Liking Something Is Not Enough My Beloveds

It is a good thing every now and again to take stock of yourselves and see just how much love there is in you. Take your everyday living and see how much love you are putting into everything you do, say and think. What is your attitude, what is your outlook? You will have to be very honest with yourselves. Are you just doing something because it has to be done, because you ought to do it or feel you are expected to do it? You will always find your inner attitude towards what you are doing will be reflected in your outer actions. You cannot really hide it, you may think you can and you may even be able to persuade yourselves that you like what you are doing. But liking something is not enough My beloveds, you have really to love it and love it wholeheartedly.

One of the co-founders of the Findhorn Community, Eileen Caddy, received guidance from the "still, small voice within" and shared it with others in the community for more than 40 years until she passed away in 2006. Today we continue this tradition by printing her guidance - as relevant today as it was when she received it - in the community's weekly newsletter and by sharing it with the wider world by email.
