Guidance from Eileen Caddy

Never Loose The Vision of What You Are Doing Here

You all have many lessons to learn from each other. Keep open and be willing to learn, so that you gather all the very best in life. The older generation who are set in their ways need to learn flexibility and be willing to learn from the younger generation and the young ones find much they can learn from their elders. When all the best is gathered together and pooled then you will behold the most wonderful results. Live and concentrate on the things that create harmony, on the positive in your everyday life and living and never loose the vision of what you are doing here in this centre of light. You are bringing down the new heaven and the new earth where peace, love, joy, harmony and understanding reign, where perfection is the aim.

Always remember that you are a pioneer centre and that what you do today, the many will do in the days ahead. Remember that the lessons you are learning are not just for you and your own good, but are for the good of the many, therefore never resent or resist the seemingly painful lessons which have to be learnt. See them as growing pains, teething troubles and move through them quickly. Help each other to do this, so that nothing is prolonged. You may feel like running away to escape from these lessons, but realise that sooner or later you will have to learn them. The choice is always yours.

Love and understanding will always help to smooth the way. Learn to laugh at yourselves so that you do not take life too seriously. Learn your lessons quickly and move on.

One of the co-founders of the Findhorn Community, Eileen Caddy, received guidance from the "still, small voice within" and shared it with others in the community for more than 40 years until she passed away in 2006. Today we continue this tradition by printing her guidance - as relevant today as it was when she received it - in the community's weekly newsletter and by sharing it with the wider world by email.
