Hello Dear One
When you think of Scotland and our position relatively far north in relation to some other places, what comes to your mind? Cold and snow perhaps? Well, I have a surprise for you! The daily maximum temperature for January in Forres was +7C, same as Paris, London and Dublin. Forres is the town in which our Cluny site is located and is only five miles from our Park site. So it’s no surprise then that the crocuses have been out for weeks now and the daffodils are showing they are not far behind.
With such thoughts of spring here in the Moray Firth area, when the days are becoming longer and the warmth of the sun is enticing flowers to unfurl their vibrantly coloured petals, I’d like to turn your attention to just some of the inspiring workshops that we have scheduled for this Spring.
Co-creation with the intelligence of nature is one of the principles upon which this centre of love and light was founded and which continues to be a part of our daily lives here. Contacting Nature Spirits invites you to find and develop your own channel with the beings of nature while Nature’s Soul Music asks the question, What is it in nature that fills your soul/heart with joy?
We are all part of an interconnected web of life, yet sometimes we find ourselves feeling the pain of separation. A Call Towards Wholeness – The Self in Relationship offers the chance to appreciate your personal dynamics with others as helpful messengers supporting your soul’s evolutionary journey. Opening to Love, Embracing Joy is an opportunity to explore releasing your blocks to love and becoming the change you want to see in the world. Longing to Belong – Listening to the Call of Your Soul takes you on a journey that invites you to reconnect and belong. Pathways to Authenticity is a rich journey of deep self enquiry during which the healing of core wounding and defences is facilitated.
Though it may seem like a long way off still, I’d like to tell you about a few events – some shorter, some longer – that we have coming up from the end of June through to the end of September. Join James Finley, author of The Contemplative Heart for a two-day retreat. Perry and Johanna Holloman from the Esalen Institute in California return once again to offer the month-long Esalen Massage Programme. Enjoy sacred dance? Then our seven-day Festival of Sacred Dance, Music and Song is for you! Robert Holden returns for three days, helping us to learn how to love and be loved. Our four-day autumn conference We Do Not Die: Expanding Consciousness Through Near-Death and Other Mystical Experiences aims to help us transform our existential fears.
EarthSings – Singing for Unity and Wellbeing
(Special Event in March – Places Still Available)
If singing is what brings forth your joy, it is still possible to join us for our EarthSings conference starting on 28th March. Offering two options – residential and non-residential – this is an inspiring, heart-warming week of daytime workshops, participatory events and evening concerts.
As always here at the Foundation, there is a diverse range of workshops in which to explore our deepest selves, in whatever way most resonates with our individual paths.
