Important announcement: Bookings for our workshops are now paused until further notice – we are in transition to create a more sustainable future for the Findhorn Foundation. Media Statement. FAQs.

Residential volunteers play an integral role in the daily running of the Findhorn Foundation. You’ll live, volunteer, and participate in spiritual life alongside coworkers and the community. It is a wonderful way to experience the Findhorn eco-community and perform love in action. Volunteers are needed in both The Park and at Cluny Hill, a former hotel five miles away in Forres.

Do you wish to make a difference? Do you understand the Foundation’s spiritual practices and would you like to explore them in everyday life?

As a volunteer, you’ll be introduced to our procedures and values in order to embody the practices of the Foundation and to support your development and deepening over time. You’ll join a nourishing and transformational environment in a unique and rewarding living experience, requiring a commitment to inner work and reflection.

Your volunteering commitment is for 30 hours a week. As some courses and workshops run full time, this may include some evenings and weekends. The minimum period for residential volunteering is 3 months.

In return for volunteering for 30 hours a week, you will receive accommodation and food (Cluny volunteers receive meals and Park volunteers receive food supplies), including all bills. You’ll be welcomed into a team and join their personal sharing and meditations, as well as take part in the general activities of the Foundation and community. There’s always a lot going on!
