Create your own Retreat at The Park
Pause, rest, repeat… Here is a way to design your own private retreat in this beautiful place – with as many or as few activities as you choose – while being nourished by the peace and energy of this sacred land and transformational field.
Create your own personal retreat, choosing from a variety of accommodation options dotted around The Park, which is on the edge of beautiful woodland and ancient dunes, and just a 15-minute walk to the sea. The land invites you to wander freely, unwinding as you connect with nature. Book your spiritual practice of ‘Love in Action’ in the gardens and create your own daily rhythm. Participate in community practices of Taize singing and daily meditations.
There is no schedule imposed – although there is plenty to do, you are free to use your time here as you wish. Come on your own for quiet contemplation, or with family or friends for close time together. We look forward to seeing you!

Your time is entirely your own – there are no schedules. Enjoy the peace of simply connecting with the magic of Findhorn, or see the various things to do while you’re here, from meditation and guided walks for connection with nature, to performances in the Universal Hall.
You’re free – join in as much or as little as you choose.
There are many ways to experience our three spiritual practices. Spend time in peaceful contemplation, doing some inner listening in the tranquil Original Garden close to the caravan where our founders, Eileen, Peter and Dorothy, first lived.
Walks on the beach and in the woods around The Park offer an opportunity to deepen your connection with the intelligence of nature, or you can choose to spend a morning or two practising work as love in action in our gardens at The Park or Cullerne.
There is also meditation every morning and Taize singing four times a week. Here’s a round-up of what’s on.
Beyond The Park
Findhorn village at the mouth of the bay is a short walk away through the forest and dunes – it has a fascinating history going back to the 17th Century. Enjoy the pubs, cafes, water sports and heritage attractions in the village or simply sit on the quay to and enjoy the sunsets.
The stunning Moray Coastline is one of the UK’s best-kept secrets. Explore numerous little fishing villages, have Cullen Skink (a delicious creamy soup) in Cullen, and visit the dolphin centre just up the coast. Moray is also the heart of the whisky industry, with some of Scotland’s most famous distilleries nearby.
The beautiful Findhorn River and woodland walks are just a short drive away, while the outdoor adventure hub of Aviemore and the majestic mountains of the Cairngorms National Park are about an hour and a half by car.
