Respect Your Elders Lesson #1: Laughter is Medicine

“You don’t stop laughing because you grow older, you grow older because you stop laughing,” said Maurice Chevalier. Here at the Findhorn Foundation, we are very fortunate to have community members who have lived in the wider Findhorn community for decades. They offer us wisdom, memories and a connection to our origins. In this film by Dave Till and Alex Wright, we appreciate the wonder of old age and ecovillage living with comedic relief.

The film first debuted on July 20th to fits of laughter and great applause in the Universal Hall during the Drumduan Steiner School fundraiser. The community response has been very positive, with one member reported to have said, “Hilarious. Especially since the people in the film are so lively in real life.”
