Thank you to everyone who responded so quickly! All the volunteer positions have now been filled. We’ll advertise again when more volunteers are needed.

Would you like to spend time here in Findhorn? Park Garden, the team that looks after the Original Garden and all the areas here in The Park, is looking for residential volunteers who can start as soon as possible (starting date negotiable, but before August 15th) and are available for at least one month, but ideally more.

Peter Mildner-Wilson is on the Park Garden team

As a residential volunteer you’ll join us in the garden every weekday and will have some out-of-hours tasks. This includes the team attunement on Wednesday afternoons and one session of personal reflection a week. In return you’ll have shared self-catering accommodation, with your own private room, a large box of vegetables each week, as well as basic cooking ingredients – and lots of love and fun in the garden.

To be a residential volunteer you’ll need to have done Experience Week, and ideally LCG and Leap. You don’t need to be a super gardener, but you do need to have reasonable fitness and be able to do physical work all day, potentially in the hot sun. We would especially like to welcome anyone who has skills in stone work and wood work.

Long-time Findhorn Community member John Willoner volunteers in the garden.

At the moment we can only welcome volunteers who can work here without visa (UK and Irish citizens as well as those with (pre)settled status in the UK).
