TEDx Findhorn at the Universal Hall

TED events have become world-renowned as the place to share inspiring ideas, heart-warming stories, and exciting innovations. A TEDx event is created by local independent organisers who, in the spirit of TED’s mission of ‘ideas worth spreading’, want to put on a TED-like event in their own community in order to spark conversation and connection.

In July 2016 the Universal Hall hosted the second in the series of TEDx Findhorn events. It was a great evening with inspiring talks including a presentation by Lisa Shaw, a long term community member and artist working in the field of ecological design applied to restoration biology. She creates paintings and collaborative art projects as part of the team at Biomatrix Water combining art, nature, engineering and community involvement to transform polluted waterways. You can view Lisa’s talk, entitled From Wastewater to Deep Beauty, below.
