Findhorn and Happiness
The Findhorn Foundation is delighted to announce its endorsement of Happiness and Its Causes, taking place 9-10 October 2008 at Savoy Place, London. This conference, which looks at tools and techniques for creating a happier life, builds on the success of conferences of the same name held in Sydney, Australia.
In past years His Holiness the Dalai Lama; founder of positive psychology, Dr Martin Seligman; actress Goldie Hawn and French monk Matthieu Ricard have inspired people from all backgrounds and professions to look inward as well as outward for solutions to the challenges of daily life. At the second European conference in 2008 in London, presentations from experts in the fields of philosophy, psychology, science and spirituality will be balanced with practical workshops on 8 and 11 October, before and after the conference. The Findhorn Foundation and Community is offering a workshop 9-12am Wednesday 8 October, titled ‘Hands-On’ Happiness – a participatory playshop for creating community, Findhorn style. See you there!
The Foundation knows that positive and enduring global change will happen when like-minded organisations collaborate in this way and is excited to be part of this collective move to explore how we can restore a sense of joy and meaning to modern life.
