For many years the Foundation held a vision of expanding our work in the world into the fields of accredited further and higher education, vocational training and professional development. That vision became a reality in 2001 with the establishment of Findhorn Foundation College – an associated but separate organisation offering the next step in experiential education for personal transformation and sustainable living.

BAC accreditation logo In 2011 they achieved the milestone of becoming one of 480 colleges and universities in the UK accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Further and Higher Education as a short course provider.

The College develops and offers accredited courses in further and higher education and professional development, drawing on the experience of the Findhorn Community and other holistic educators. They create a truly holistic learning environment that facilitates balanced development of mind, body, relationships, emotions and spirit.

The Human Challenge of Sustainability - Semester
A study abroad semester accredited in the USA with an emphasis on personal development and the human aspects of sustainable development.
Gaia Education Design for Sustainability Incorporating Transition Training
Based on the Gaia Education Ecovillage Design curriculum, drawing on the experience and expertise developed in a network of some of the most successful ecovillages, community projects and research centres for carbon-constrained lifestyles across the Earth.
MSc Sustainable Community Design
Multidisciplinary knowledge and skills in aspects of ecologically sound settlement design – tailored to the individual’s interests.
Learning English in Community
Learning English as a foreign (or second) language while living in the Findhorn community.
Field Study Visits
A wide range of custom-made programmes for students to experience the Findhorn Ecovillage.
