BAG END ECO-VILLAGE HOUSES
Begun in 1990, this cluster of seven houses was the
Findhorn Foundation's first ecohousing venture. All
are built to high ecological standards, and the first
four were built with the help of Building Schools. They
have solar panels, 'breathing' walls to let moisture
out and clean air in, and are built using local timber,
stone and tiles and organic paints and glues.
