FOLLOW THE RAINBOW (Film)

Sat 4th Sept, 8pm.

followtherainbow%20web.jpgOccasionally film-makers drop into the Findhorn Foundation and community (the site of the Universal Hall) with the intention of making a movie about both, and without their version being commissioned or claiming to be a definitive record of the place. This hour-long documentary is just that – filmmaker Markus Werner’s take on this community. The camera follows selected community members as they share their personal experiences of daily living and working together, their passion for community, their vision and dreams of the future. From its humble beginnings in 1962, the community here has evolved into one of the world’s first eco-villages and is home to over 400 people of all nationalities, ages and backgrounds. The film is of general interest to anyone who is curious to know more about life here.

This is an evening to experience Ainu storytelling and its traditional rhythmic accompaniment (with translation), and learn about the Ainu's historical and cultural connections with Scotland.
