Universal Hall
SCOTTISH CHAMBER ORCHESTRA

Sat 27th June, 8pm

SCO%202007%20credit%20Paul%20Hampto.jpgWe are delighted to have the Scottish Chamber Orchestra back on one of its regular visits with a delightful programme of music by Fauré, Poulenc, Berlioz and Haydn. The Orchestra will be joined by its new Principal Conductor Designate, Robin Ticciati, still in his twenties, one of the most talked-about new talents in the music world. Principal Flute, Alison Mitchell, takes the solo in Poulenc’s charming Flute Sonata and the concert reaches a wonderful finale with one of Haydn’s best symphonies, The Clock.
“ ... they produce a knock-out sound: tight, balanced and intensely lyrical" The Scotsman
