I experienced Ecovillage Design Education at the Findhorn Foundation in a way that changed my dreams into plans, and my life into something that could be useful. I now have the skills, tools and ideas for starting to rebuild Iraq. Dr Ali Al-Dabbagh, Iraq

Read about our plans for the future
What humanity faces now is an extraordinary opportunity to create a different way of
being in the world; a culture of personal and collective sustainability, based on the
recognition that all life is interconnected.
The Findhorn Foundation is rising to the challenge of making the most of this opportunity.
For over 35 years, the Findhorn Foundation has experimented with a range of pioneering
ideas for sustainable living, which have steadily entered mainstream thinking. There is
now an urgent need for a wider spectrum of people who can put these ideas into practice.
Today the Foundation attracts people from diverse backgrounds and from across the
globe: from inner city children to students from top universities; from village farmers to
urban financiers; from unemployed single mothers to politicians and global executives - all
drawn here by a unique blend of inspiration, education and action.
We are now embarking on the most ambitious development programme in our history.
