Family Experience Week has completely changed how my husband and I approach our relationship with each other, with our son and with the world around us.

Find out how regular and legacy donations are making a real difference

During the 1970s Treya Killum was a member of the Findhorn Foundation. She met and married Ken Wilber and then days after the wedding was diagnosed as having cancer. The courageous and beautiful story of Treya and Ken's relationship, her battle with the cancer and her eventual death, is told in the book Ken has written, Grace and Grit. Treya left The Findhorn Foundation a legacy which was used to build the first house for long- term members of the Foundation. The house was completed in 1991 and is named Treya.

The Park Sanctuary has been the centre for community meditations since it was manifested by Eileen's guidance and Peter's will in 1969. At least three meditations are held each day, spreading the ideals of love, peace and harmony out into the world. Now 40 years old, this sacred space has started to show its age. After a new coat of paint, the next critical step was to repair the roof. Thanks to donations large and small, we now have the £3000 needed to make the necessary repairs.

A £1500 donation specifically for energy saving projects allowed us to insulate the Cluny Hill College loft space. The purchase of 1000 rolls of eco-friendly insulation (made from recycled plastic bottles) will help us conserve energy (and money!) for years to come.
