Spiritual Practice
Click on date below to book
This course requires previous participation in Experience Week.
Essential Findhorn focalisers
Space for you to explore and connect with your innermost self.
Spiritual practice means different things to different people and can include meditation of many kinds, other practices, or simply be how we live our daily lives.
This programme supports you to continue a path of transformation and growth in your everyday life. It gives time to explore meditation, exercises and to approach ordinary activities in a new way that encourages space for creativity and laughter. We look at what supports or may sabotage the deepening of your inner connection.
There are daily sessions together and afternoons are in Foundation service departments - the gardens, kitchens, dining room, homecare or maintenance - integrating practical life with your spiritual practice. The week is less of a group experience than Experience Week and you are more integrated into the life and daily rhythms of the community. The group is generally smaller. There is time to take part in community meditations and events, and one day is spent in silence as an opportunity to deepen your inner experience. These elements are also part of the Special Spiritual Practice Weeks.
