This gala event, which attracts hundreds of residents to the magnificent setting of the Universal Hall, is always one of the annual highlights of the Findhorn Community.

This year our special guest is Friedel Kloke Eibl, who brings holistic expression of the Meditation of the Dance through her own choreographies, traditional dances and the work of Bernhard Wosien. Friedel was particularly happy to be invited this year as it marks the 100th anniversary of Bernhard's birth. Friedel's work unites music, movement and silence to harmonise and sensitise dancers.

The Scratch Orchestra and Choir build during the week to provide music for the community celebration on Friday evening. The Choir features voice work and harmony singing from around the world, led by Kate O'Connell. Bill Henderson's Scratch Orchestra is open to musicians of all level - bring or borrow an instrument.

Additional dance workshops will be led by Susanne Bartholomäi, who focuses on traditional dances supplemented by body work; Andy Bettis, who specialises in Rom (Gypsy) and Balkan dance; and Peter Vallance, who will be working with traditional dances from India.

In the evenings there will be live music.
