Sacred Dance Teacher Training
Peter Vallance & Judith Bone
Saturday 24th September, 2011
Sacred Dance is a collection of traditional dances and contemporary choreographies which work on many levels to create community through celebration and devotion. This dance is spiritual practice that transforms and heals.
In these two weeks you'll learn 16 dances in depth, with detailed notes and recordings of the music, and have the opportunity to teach and receive feedback. You'll learn skills in leading groups, creating a programme of dances and attuning to the energy of the dance. What makes the Findhorn course unique is the opportunity to teach at the open Wednesday night class in the Universal Hall.
Suitable for those who already have some experience of Sacred Circle Dance or folk dance.
Previous participation in a Findhorn Experience Week is recommended but not essential.
Income related price (click here for more information): £895 / £1125 / £1295
Includes 14 nights accommodation and all meals.
Peter Vallance has taught Sacred Dance for 20 years and runs dance teacher trainings, bringing humour, experience and enthusiasm. He is also a storyteller and leads sacred journeys.
