Leadership for Transition

This course does not require previous participation in an Experience Week.

A training for anyone who wishes to develop their capacity to lead and inspire in these times of transition.

This 5-day training programme is designed to help you to develop the leadership and resilience required to galvanise your Transition Town, workplace, teams or community to stay on track and fulfil their purpose in times of rapid change and transition.

The training comprises two modules, which can be taken separately or together:

Module 1:
2 days, Sat 20 - Sun 21
Inspirational Leadership - Lessons from Shakespeare's Henry Vth & In-depth Coaching.

Leadership development through the experiential medium of mythodrama – 2 days based around our programme Inspirational Leadership – Lessons drawn from Shakespeare’s Henry V. (See www.oliviermythodrama.com) The first day will focus on how to build a committed team, how to motivate and inspire, how to manage yourself and others through doubt and uncertainty, and how to build long-term sustainable success. The second day will deepen into small group and individual coaching to expand your range of leadership potentials and your effectiveness.

Module 2:
3 days, Mon 22 - Wed 24
Process Orientated Approach to Leadership, Group Dynamics & Conflict Facilitation.

3 days focused on a process oriented approach to leadership, group dynamics and conflict facilitation. We will work with short presentations of theory and a lot of practice to deepen your awareness of your inherent leadership style, how rank and power are affecting communication, group dynamics, eldership and more. This will, in turn, build your resilience and flexibility as a leader in times of change.
