Inspired Action - Changing the world from the inside out

Inspired Action aims to raise awareness of the crucial link between inner wisdom and outer action. Living in a world focused on the material, we will explore the power of action inspired from within. This is the path to true service.

Inspired Action is a call to each one of us to examine our responsibility to each other and the planet, a call to both contemplation and engagement, each in our own unique way. In order to create a world of peace for everyone, of sustainability on all levels, we need to embody positive qualities not only in our own hearts and minds, but also in our lives.

The Findhorn Foundation, the educational arm of a larger spiritual community and ecovillage, holds the vision of a peaceful and sustainable world. For 47 years it has worked with inspiration and love to co-create a new way of being on the planet.

The Foundation and community was founded on the principles of being still, listening to the wisdom which is in all of us and acting from this deep place of unity with all parts of life. The transformation of barren sand dunes into a vibrant international community with beautiful gardens attests to the power of these principles.

This conference is an opportunity for you

  • to experience the power of individual and collective meditation, as intentional and heartfelt spiritual practice
  • to use this inner work to collectively catalyse global change
  • to be inspired by a wide range of experienced people through presentations and smaller workshops
  • to explore and engage with the power of actions emerging from inner wisdom and of spiritual practice as a tool for world change through open space forums
  • to experience a large-scale and expanded version of the Transformation Game especially designed for this event as an interactive forum to explore individual and social change
  • to be part of a social activism which is magnetic, transformational, peaceful and loving
  • to nurture your own capacity to contribute to global change
  • to build lasting networks and partnerships with like-minded people to support you back home

Dorothy Maclean -
Cofounder of the Findhorn Foundation, pioneered and continues to demonstrate and teach the power of connecting with inner wisdom and the intelligence of Nature.
Satish Kumar -
Editor of Resurgence magazine, the artistic and spiritual voice of the green movement. His approach of “soil, soul and society” insists that reverence for nature needs to be at the heart of the world's political and social debate. Satish believes social systems can change if we understand the power of concepts such as love and reverence.
Venerable Robina Courtin -

Danah Zohar -
Coined the term ‘spiritual intelligence', extending the principles of quantum physics to a new understanding of human consciousness. Now teaching at Oxford Brookes University, and author of ReWiring the Corporate Brain, Danah knows, that as part of an interwoven system, a group can shift world consciousness.
David Nicol -
Director of Gaiafield Center for Subtle Activism at California Institute of Integral Studies.
