Deepening the Presence through Movement and Music

Georgete Gadas & Susanne Olbrich

Saturday 13th December, 2008 (7 days)

A week of sound and music, movement and dance. This is an invitation to come home to your body, relax your mind and open doors of creativity and expression.

Using Biodanza we nurture a sense of aliveness and ease, connecting with the wisdom of the body and its unique expressive potential. Intuitive music-making encourages us to listen to our own creative voice and to explore the realms of sound as well as silence together.

Chaos and structure, harmony and dissonance, rhythm and flow - will be part of our journey into deeper presence, enjoying the miracle of the present moment and of being alive.

For musicians (bring your instruments) as well as complete beginners.

Price:
£475 for participants with low income
£565 for participants with medium income
£665 for participants with high income

Includes 7 nights accommodation and meals.

Georgete Gadas is Brazilian and a passionate Biodanza teacher. Fascinated by life and its manifestations, she approaches the body as the visible expression of the soul and, therefore, sacred. She also works with massage and conscious creative movement.

Susanne Olbrich is a pianist, composer and music teacher who engages in mindfulness meditation. Her keen interest in creative music and improvisation reflect her love for sound, silence and life.
