The Living Education Staff Programme:
The Soul of Service

8 January 2011
9 July 2011

The Living Education Staff Programme (LESP) is the daily practice of being present in every task and interaction, and the conscious choice to live everyday life as a spiritual path. In essence the purpose of LESP is to develop world servers and leaders, as well as being the primary path to becoming a staff member of the Findhorn Foundation.

Erraid feetsThe programme runs in 6-month segments with a curriculum that immerses you in sharing responsibility for the rhythms and principles of the Foundation. This includes commitment to a work department, participation in community meetings, meditation, spiritual and personal development, and regular reviews of your journey with a mentor. Come and live the soul of service with us!

The cost is £695 for the first 6-month segment which includes accommodation, all meals, and the programme itself - there is no cost for subsequent 6-month segments. Our bursary fund allows for the possibility of supplementing those on low income and/or from developing countries.

Pre-requisites to apply are below. If you are interested in joining this programme, contact lesp@findhorn.org

NEW – Expanding our Living Education Staff Programme
We are delighted by the interest that people of all ages, experiences and backgrounds show in wanting to participate in the living experiment of Findhorn. We welcome your skills, inspiration and dedication to support the unfolding of this centre and its work in the world. We are continually finding new ways for people to participate, and we now have new routes to joining LESP that include combinations of previous programmes and work experience with us.

You can qualify to apply for LESP by participating in the Living in Community Guest Programme (LCG) for two months, and then joining either the Foundation Programme or Findhorn Intensive.

Alternatively, after two months of participating in our LCG Programme, or one month of LCG and the Ecovillage Training programme, you may be invited to join the Long Term Seva programme by a work department that values and needs your particular skill set. By participating as a Long Term Seva, you become eligible to join LESP. For information about Long Term Seva, contact longtermseva@findhorn.org.
